About American Gourmet Club
Our Story
American Gourmet Club (AGC) was established in the Bay Area in 1980. AGC is a privately owned food
Club at that time for people who appreciate good food and its resources. This is a Club that involves the
‘fair’ rating of restaurants, cooking, tasting classes, training of professional help, tasting events and
continued dining experiences. The focus of AGC is to generate consumer members who appreciates the
experience of fine food and recognizing food establishments for their quality of food served. The second is
to create a bond between our members and merchant members who are a part of AGC in providing
updates, specials, and rewards for their patronizing appreciation of that establishment.
